Q. How do I start outlining my literature review?

Please review the ASC’s outlining FAQ to assist you with outlining. Once you have an idea of how to outline, review the NCU dissertation template in the NCU Dissertation Center under “Essentials” and in the “Templates and Forms” box. Click here to access the Dissertation Center. The template will provide you guidance on the types of headings that you need. If you need additional assistance with outlining, use ASC Chat to speak with a coach or to schedule an appointment.

Additionally, you may search the Library's Dissertation Resources to find completed dissertations for examples of literature reviews. To access, go to the Library's home page and click on Research Resources, then Dissertation Resources. To see dissertations from other NCU students, select ProQuest Dissertations & Theses @ Northcentral University. ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global provides access to over 2 million full-text dissertations from hundreds of different universities. For more guidance, please see the Library's FAQ: How do I find completed dissertations in the NCU Library?
