Three circumstances can cause the cancelation of a recorded session.

A document was not uploaded during the scheduling process.

• It is important to upload the document you want a coach to review when you are scheduling the appointment. While feedback can be received two days from the scheduled appointment time, the academic coaches work very hard to provide students with feedback as quickly as possible. Many times, feedback is provided before the scheduled appointment date; therefore, it is important to upload a document when you schedule the session.

Feedback was not applied or the coaching plan was not followed.

• The purpose of academic coaching is to assist you with building the skills needed to complete your program. After reviewing your document, the coach will provide you with feedback concerning your strengths, areas for improvement, and the next steps for improving in the specific skill area. You must apply the feedback before scheduling another recorded coaching appointment. Applying feedback includes following the recommendations of the coach for attending group or individual sessions.

Multiple recorded coaching sessions scheduled

• You may only have one recorded session scheduled at a time. Once you receive feedback concerning your first submission and apply that feedback, then you can schedule another recorded session. It is important to remember that the focus of academic coaching is on skill development and not individual course assignments.
