Q. What services can I use if I am in a prospectus, portfolio, or comprehensive exam course?

Per policy 208-20-Academic Success Center Usage, all students enrolled in CMP designated courses for their respective programs can utilize written resources, Grammarly, APA Style CENTRAL, and live chat. All of these resources can be accessed from the ASC website's homepage. Students can also enroll in group sessions. Students may not receive live or recorded individual coaching where specific feedback is given on CMP documents.

To schedule a group session, first register for coaching services, then use the ASC group calendar to determine a session that best fits your needs. Students do not have a limit on the number of group sessions they can attend per week.

If you have a quick question about ASC resources, use ASC Chat, Ask a coach, or search or FAQs on our LibAnswers page.

If you would like additional support with proofreading and editing, once you are on the ASC main page, locate the heading Tiers of Service. Then select Self-Editing and Proofreading. This link will take you to a variety of resources to help you self-edit and proofread assignments.

If you would like additional support with APA, you can visit APA Style Central. The instructions for creating an APA Style Central account are located in the APA Style Guidelines community. APA Central is the official and ultimate resource for APA Style. This website will help with your APA style needs by providing quick guides and tutorials.
