What is the difference between ASC Chat and submitting to Ask a Coach?

Answer

Submitting to Ask a Coach is asynchronous, meaning that you will not be talking to a coach in real time. You may submit to Ask a Coach via a question form, text, or email and a coach may respond in a few minutes or a few hours, depending on availability. The three options for submitting to Ask a Coach are on the right-hand side of the ASC's FAQ page under the hours.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Right below the Ask a Coach buttons is ASC Chat, which is synchronous, meaning you will chat in real time with a coach. When chat is online you will see the image below:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If chat is offline, you will see the image below:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If chat is offline, then Ask a Coach should be used to submit your question or you can search our FAQs. If chat appears offline but our hours indicate it should be online, then please refresh your browser or use our browser refresh FAQ to assist you.
