Q. How do I create a Turnitin account in order to check my paper for plagiarism?
Unfortunately, at this time only professors have access to the plagiarism checker Turnitin. Please contact your Mentor for any information regarding Turnitin.
However, you have access to Grammarly, the automated grammar checker, through the NCU Academic Success Center. In addition to checking grammar, "Grammarly finds unoriginal text before it gets you into trouble by checking for plagiarism against a database of over 8 billion web pages. Grammarly not only brings borrowed texts to light but also suggests citations."
You may access the Academic Success Center from your NCU Learner Portal. Once on the Academic Success Center homepage, you will see a section for Grammarly. Follow the instructions provided to create an account.
Finally, you may also do a Google search for "free plagiarism checker" to see which programs may be offering free trials.
