Q. Can you proofread my paper and reference list?

Answer

Library policies prohibit any sort of proofreading. We cannot look at your paper or your reference list for any sort of content or format errors. Please see the Library's Reference Policy for level of assistance given:

However, you may submit your paper to be reviewed by an academic coach through the Academic Success Center. Coaches can help you learn to proofread your own work, but they will not proofread your work for you. For example, they can help you learn to read your work from the point of view of a reader, not of the writer, who knows what text is supposed to say.

To access the Academic Success Center, follow this path: MY.NCU.edu > The Commons and Other Resources > Academic Success Center > Academic Coaching (main page or left nav link) > Student Guide to Academic Coaching.

Once there, you may access the Student Guide to Academic Coaching, plus information on the type of services offered. There is also a short tutorial video that addresses how to register for the ASC and schedule an appointment. Once you have have registered, you will be able to schedule the coaching sessions.

You may also view a more detailed workshop on the Academic Success Center called Meet Your Academic Success Coaches.

For questions about the Academic Success Center (ASC) and/or Coaching Services, please contact the ASC at asc@ncu.edu or on the Commons: https://vac.ncu.edu/writing-center-commons/
