Q. How do I cite RefWorks as an entire resource?

Answer

While it is uncommon to cite an entire database such as RefWorks, EBSCOHost, ScienceDirect, etc. in APA Style, if required by your assignment, RefWorks suggests citing the resource in the following format. Note that there are different citations for Legacy (old) RefWorks and the New RefWorks.

Legacy RefWorks:

ProQuest. (2014). RefWorks (Version 2.0) [Software]. Available from www.RefWorks.com/RefWorks

New RefWorks:

ProQuest. (2014). ProQuest RefWorks (Version 3.0) [Software]. Available from https://RefWorks.proquest.com

In-text Citation:

(ProQuest, 2014)
