How do I locate interview protocols or interview guides?

For information about how to effectively search for existing interview protocols relating to your research topic, please review the Library's Tests and Measurements Guide. Please note that when locating interview questions in a scholarly journal article, you may need to contact the authors in order to request the entire protocol.

If you are writing your own interview protocol, we suggest using the SAGE Research Methods database to first locate information about research design and methodology, including interview protocol.

On the SAGE Research Methods home page, enter "interview protocol" using quotation marks to ensure that your terms are searched as an exact phrase. You results screen will include hundreds reference resources relating to interview protocols. Please note the "Top search hits" section to jump directly into the section of the book that discusses that information.

Please reach out to your Dissertation Chair for any questions about writing your own interview protocol.
