When I try to download an Ebook Central book or add it to my Bookshelf, I receive an error message telling me that I must be logged into my personal account. What should I do?

When you access a particular Ebook Central e-book via a persistent link in your course syllabus, via Find a Resource, or via a ProQuest database, you are not automatically logged into your Ebook Central account. Therefore, you will be able to read the full-text e-book on your computer and print selections, but you will be unable to download the book, add annotations, or add it to your Bookshelf.

To use these features, you must access Ebook Central directly from the Library's A-Z Databases page.

Once you have accessed Ebook Central from the Library's A-Z Databases page, you will be automatically recognized as a unique user. You are logged into your account and can download the book, add annotations, or add it to your Bookshelf.

You can locate your required e-book by entering the title of the book into the search box and placing quotation marks around the title, as shown below. This will ensure that Ebook Central searches for that exact title and that it appears at the top of your results list.
