I am unable to login to my EBSCOhost account. How do I resolve this?

MyEBSCOhost accounts will now be linked to your OpenAthens (Library login) information. If you have previously created an EBSCOhost account prior to July 1, 2021 but are having difficulty logging in, your first step is to try resetting your password. See this FAQ for more information about switching to your previous account.

To reset your password:

  1. Click Sign In in the top toolbar of the screen.

  2. From the Sign In Screen, click Forgot your password? The Reset Password screen appears.

  3. In the Email or Username field:

    • If you created a username: Enter the username and click Reset.

    • If you used your email address as your username: Enter your email address and click Reset.

  4. Answer the secret question and click Continue.

  5. Create a new strong password and click Continue.

  6. Click the Sign In link to sign into your My EBSCOhost folder account.

If you attempt the above steps, but you receive an error message (such as that shown below), it typically means that EBSCOhost is not able to match the email address that you are entering against its database. Please ensure that you are entering the correct email, and did not establish the account an alternate email address.

If you are certain you are entering the correct email but the error persists, your account may have been deleted by EBSCO (not the Library) due to inactivity. Items in your personal folder will automatically be discarded if you have not logged into the folder for an 18 month period.

Unless there was some critical content in your My EBSCOhost account that you need to retrieve, it is recommended that you start over by using your newly established account.

If you require assistance with accessing your user information for a previous MyEBSCOhost account, please contact the Library directly by calling 888-628-1569, by texting 928-550-6552, or chatting with us during live help hours.
