How do I find historical stock quotes?

Yahoo Finance provides historical stock prices and volumes for each stock.

  1. Go to http://finance.yahoo.com/
  2. Enter the company’s ticker symbol in the main search box.
  3. Click the historical data tab.
  4. Select dates from the Time Period limiter and click Apply.
  5. You may view the data on the screen, or click Download Data to open with Excel.
