I found an article citation in Gale Academic OneFile. How do I access the full text?

Not all of the articles in Gale Academic OneFile are available in full text. If you see a result labeled as "Citation," the article is not available in full text from the database. All accessible articles will be labeled as "Full-text." See examples below.

Click on the Article Linker to check for full-text availability elsewhere in the Library.

You may limit your search results to just full-text articles on the right-hand side of the results screen as shown below.

For articles that are unavailable through Gale Academic OneFile, we first recommend that you use our Find a Resource tool. Our Locating Publications FAQ explains how you can use this tool to potentially locate the journal available in full text through another Library database.

If Find a Resource reveals that we do not subscribe to the journal, you may request articles that are unavailable from Gale Academic OneFile through Interlibrary Loan. For instructions on how to submit an Interlibrary Loan request for an article please see our ILL Article FAQ.
