How do I find an article using its DOI?

DOI stands for Digital Object Identifier. It's a standardized scheme for finding articles and other digital files. You can try searching for a DOI number in several of the Library's databases, including ProQuest or NavigatorSearch. Here are some other tips and tools that may help:

CrossRef.org

Crossref.org has a free DOI lookup service. Find the search box on their homepage, and click on the Search Metadata tab; then enter the DOI.

CrossRef will give you the full citation information for the article, and (in most cases) a link to the article on the publisher's homepage.
