How do I log in to the library?
Whenever you try to open a Library resource (like a database, or a link to an article), you'll be prompted to log in.
(Are you having issues logging in through ProQuest? Try this page for more help!)
If you're logging in through the Library's website (or links to Library resources):
When you click on the link for Library resource, you'll be prompted to log in.
When you're asked to "choose how to sign in," you'll have the option to log in as:
- a National University student enrolled in a class, or a faculty member;
- a 1-1 (formerly NCU) student, or faculty member;
- or as an alumni. (Alumni can find more information here)
If you've chosen to log in, you'll be taken to the Single Sign On (NU) or NCUOne (NCU) login page.
Enter your username and password just as you would to access your online classes.
If you're a class-based NU student having trouble with your password, click on the "Need help signing in?" link (highlighted in the image below) and then the "Forgot password?" link.
If you have any questions about signing in, please contact us.
Who can log into NU Library Resources?
You must be currently enrolled as a student at National University or NCU, or be a member of our staff or faculty, to access any of our subscription databases.
Alumni have limited access to the Library if they purchase a membership; see the Alumni Office's page for details.
