Withdrawals & Dismissals – How will my VA benefit be affected if I withdraw or get dismissed from the university?

VA will not pay benefits for a course, or a part of a course, from which the student withdraws or does not attend. In the case of a withdrawal or dismissal, the school is required to report the change in enrollment and the student’s last day of attendance (LDA) to VA. VA will require the repayment of benefits based on the reason for the withdrawal/dismissal and the student’s LDA.
