I am getting an error when trying to view a SAGE resource. Why can't I access it?

Please be aware that some SAGE resources are temporarily unavailable due to a vendor-side issue. This includes SAGE Knowledge, SAGE Research Methods, SAGE Video, and CQ Research. SAGE is working on resolving this as soon as possible. We'll be updating the database status here when we hear more. In the meantime, please use the following workaround to access SAGE.

  1. Go directly to the SAGE database that contains the resource that you need. You can use the following links:
    1. SAGE Knowledge -
    2. SAGE Research Methods -
    3. SAGE Video -
    4. CQ Researcher -
  2. Look in the top-right of the page and click on the button that says "Institution" (NOTE: If it already says National University, you should have access).

  3. On the next page, click the button that says "Access via Your Institution".

  4. Search for "National University", select it, and Continue.

  5. If step 4 results in an error page, please open a private/incognito window in your web browser and repeat steps 1-4.
  6. You will be taken back to the SAGE database homepage, and it should now say National University in the top right. Proceed to search for and access the resource that you need.

If you are still having trouble accessing your SAGE resource after following the above steps, please contact us so that we may further troubleshoot. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
